“His image was already tainted sir”: Internet reacts as Gilbert Arenas encourages Anthony Edwards to settle with Ayesha Howard to save reputation

Anthony Edwards, who has been in a months-long custody battle with ex-girlfriend Ayesha Howard, recently received fresh advice from Gilbert Arenas. According to Hot New Hip Hop, Arenas, who appeared on the Milli and Gill podcast, advised Edwards to make sure the whole incident does go away at the earliest before it causes further damage to his name and career.

In a video from the podcast shared by The Neighborhood Talk, several fans reacted strongly to the advice, with one person saying that Anthony Edwards' image was already tainted before.

Anthony Edwards, who rose to fame after being drafted first overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2020, has three children with three different women. According to US Weekly, Edwards also allegedly shares another child with a woman named Alexandra Deschroches, also known as Ally D, although the paternity of the child has not yet been determined.

Anthony Edwards has been in a long, drawn court battle with Ayesha Howard since October last year. In his appearance on the Milli and Gill podcast, Gibert Arenas added that the recent drama regarding the custody battle has made it difficult for Anthony Edwards to be the face of the NBA. He said:

"It's gonna be hard for Anthony Edwards to be the face of the NBA because he has this entity with him. You're not interested, but we get it, right? You're that good, you're that charming, you're attractive to women. You can be a face. But you have this ball-and-chain type of personality that's attached to your name."

He further added that he might have to pay a hefty amount of $10-$20 million to Howard, and stated,

"Anytime you get ready to blow up and be a part of America's face, this woman can dirty it up by filing a court case or doing something. You have one of those, you got one of those pregnant, where your name and image and likeness is never safe. You will literally have to pay her a lot of money to stand down and go away, do not exist anymore in my life. And that's the thing you're gonna have to do. You're gonna have to give this woman 10–20 million dollars to go away, if you're trying to blow up."

This suggestion by Gilbert Arenas, who was recently arrested but later released on bail for running an illegal gambling operation from his home, has prompted several fans to comment on the situation. In the video posted by The Neighborhood Talk, another fan wrote in the comment section, saying;

"So him having hella kids that he doesn't acknowledge doesn't taint his image? Ok"

Another person added:

"He has three kids all the same age and not a triplet or twin in sight. It's not on her he is clearly also the problem"

This fan said:

"Having a baby that was proven to be yours and publicly abandoning her is taunting his image."

As reported by Fadeaway World, Arenas considers Edwards to succeed the likes of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant.

According to reports, Ayesha Howard recently demanded not only $500,000 from Anthony Edwards but also asked him to issue a public apology.
