Elizabeth Holmes spent her Thanksgiving of 2025 in Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Texas. She is serving an 11-year sentence and is supposed to be released by 2032. The holiday was among the rare ones when she could physically meet her family.
An appointment with her husband, Billy Evans, and their two children, the day after Thanksgiving, was allowed. The conference was held in the prison yard.
Holmes is the former Theranos CEO. She was subsequently featured in The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley, a film that was about the rise and fall of the company. Her present life in prison is quite a contrast to her image in the previous years.
Elizabeth Holmes' family visit to the prison camp

Holmes was able to spend the visit with the family outdoors, where the inmates can visit relatives under supervision. She sat opposite Evans with children playing around. The visit was peaceful.
She spent time with her son William, swinging him in a playful moment. She also held her daughter, Invicta, and spoke to her. These interactions showed how Holmes tries to stay connected to her children despite her situation.
Her family has been paying frequent visits. It was reported that they had met her last week as well. Such frequent visits provide Holmes with support in her stay at the minimum-security facility.
Thanksgiving meal and holiday routine

Elizabeth Holmes was given a special holiday meal reserved for inmates at the camp. The lunch arrived around 11 a.m. and included bone-in turkey. There were also basic vegetables and starches in the meal.
Holmes kept on the move during the weekend. She got dumbbells for bicep curls and continued the regimen she had followed in prison. It is said that she wakes up early in the morning, has fruit for breakfast, and exercises every day. She is in prison with several other infamous inmates, including Ghislaine Maxwell and Jen Shah.
