Influencer couple Sarah Mollica and Carlo Longo are expecting a rainbow baby. The pair, both 28, took to Instagram on Christmas Day to announce that they were expanding their family. The news comes less than a year after they announced that they suffered a miscarriage. “Our miracle baby,” they captioned their maternity photos. “Our little love. Baby Longo on the way 🤍.” The pair have reportedly been together since 2019, though they tied the knot in July 2021. Known for celebrating their intercultural differences, the influencer couple announced back in August that they had been hit with tragic news: “Our baby. Our greatest love & our biggest heartbreak,” she wrote via Instagram in August “We prayed for you every second of every day. Growing you and being your home was my biggest blessing in life. Even though we lost you, you made us stronger. You’ll always be a part of us and our story. You’ll always be ours. Our baby.”Sarah continued, “Talking about such a personal, real, raw, devastating life event to so many people is scary, but what’s scarier is going through this alone. 1/4 [of] pregnancies end in loss. For anyone going through it/has gone through it just know I am here for you. I feel you. I am you.”Sarah and Carlo open up about experiencing a miscarriage: Read more View this post on Instagram Instagram PostBack in August, Sarah shared a video on YouTube explaining that she learnt she was pregnant in June. However, by the eight-week ultrasound, they were informed by doctors that there was no fetal heartbeat. “When [the] heartbeat stops is when your body stops producing the hormone, I guess, but it doesn’t notice that you lost the pregnancy,” Sarah explained at the time. “So I had no bleeding, I had no cramping, I still had symptoms. … Having Carlo, like, I tell him all the time, I would not have gone through any of this without him.”Carlo got candid about supporting his wife during that period: “If I can say something, if your partner goes through this, stay close to your partner, because it’s extremely important,” the Italian influencer said. “I think we can’t understand it. … You know you’re the mother. You have more connection — they grow in you. So, it’s a little bit different. I can tell you they will appreciate forever if you be close to them because they really need it.”This week, the two also shared a follow-up video of the moment they learned Sarah was pregnant: “It is? It is!” Carlo exclaimed after seeing a positive pregnancy test. "OUR BABY😭🤍," they wrote in the caption. Stay tuned to SoapCentral for more.
