How long have Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban been married? Actress reveals why she wouldn't do a show with husband

Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban have been in matrimonial bliss for almost 19 years. However, the actress does not seem keen on doing a show with Urban. In an exclusive interview with People Magazine on May 17, 2025, the actress reflected on the possibility of doing a show, saying:

“We're together in life, so we don't need to do our show together. Our life is a show.”

During the conversation, she shared that she was open to hypothetically having all the characters she portrayed in one place. Nicole Kidman said she found the idea funny and was open to it, as she generally liked trying new things.

She shared that she had a strong passion for her work, felt lucky about her career, and remained excited and grateful for every opportunity, never taking anything for granted. Speaking about her character, Masha, in Nine Perfect Strangers, the actress said her role was reprised in the second season of the series, because:

“She's fun and powerful, and Maisie said something like, ‘Masha sharks it.’ So I was like, ‘What does that mean?’ But I think that means she's a shark. She comes in, and I don't get to play sharks very often.”

During a conversation with the magazine outlet in 2024, Nicole Kidman explained that she began working at 14 and spent much of her life in the public eye, which made her feel exposed.

Over the years, she shared her personal struggles and professional achievements with the world, and that mix of experiences shaped his life, along with her family and career.

Looking back on her wedding day, Nicole Kidman remembered it as a special moment. She recalled being in Sydney with her father, who has since passed away, and driving to the church while crowds of people gathered on the streets to celebrate.

She described it as one of the most emotional experiences of her life. She later went on to have two daughters with Keith Urban. Meanwhile, commenting on her journey in the industry, she said:

“When I go into a room that's an industry room in Hollywood, I have grown up with most of the people there. I know them and I remember the first time when I went to the Academy Awards and I was like this is the most overwhelming int intimidating place ever.”

Nicole Kidman went on:

“And now I walk in and I am like Oh right I know most of the people here I have grown up with them. I know a lot about their lives they know a lot about mine.”

Kidman shared that she had been raising her daughters, one almost 16 and the other 13, and described them as wonderful individuals. She felt incredibly fortunate to have Urban by her side, calling him her true love. His support gave her the strength to pursue her work, knowing she always had a loving home to return to.
