Romeo Beckham and model Kim Turnbull have reportedly split up as reports of a rift between the Beckham family continue to emerge.

The Daily Mail was the first to break the news, while Us Weekly reported that they were together for seven months. Romeo, 22, confirmed his romance with Turnbull, 26, back in November 2024 when he shared a snap of the two on his Instagram Stories. Later that month, he uploaded photos of the two on a family trip to New York City.

The news comes as claims that tensions are brewing between the family, as one source previously told People Magazine that "there are tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola [Peltz] and the family." The pair were also absent from David Beckham's 50th birthday party in May.

A source told Us Weekly just last month that Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, requested a “separate meetup” with David for his birthday, but he and his wife, Victoria, 51, turned down the same:

“David and Victoria just want to treat everyone the same and approach life like a family and the family does things a certain way,” the source explained. “But Brooklyn isn’t playing it like that, and everything is a drama.” The source added, “They just tell the whole family there’s a party, ‘Here’s the time, here’s the date.’ It’s not that complicated. Everyone else seems OK with it.”

The bash was held at London’s Core restaurant, and the youngest children, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, were also in attendance.

Page Six has also reported that some rumors say the brothers had a falling out because Turnbull allegedly had a fling with Brooklyn in the past, though a source rubbished the claims:

“It’s just an excuse to find an argument,” a source told the outlet, referring to these rumors as “nonsense.”

Another source reportedly close to Brooklyn and Peltz told the outlet on Wednesday that they “didn’t know Romeo and Kim split” because they hadn't spoken to them in months.

As for where the feud began between Peltz and her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, reports say it was when the latter stole her spotlight during Brooklyn and Peltz’s Florida wedding, which took place in April 2022. A source told People Magazine:

“Before the song began, Marc Anthony asked Brooklyn to come to the stage, and then announced, ‘The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on up … Victoria Beckham!’”

Peltz reportedly felt like "Victoria ruined her wedding.”

Another source claims to have seen “Nicola running from the room crying”:

“Nicola felt like Victoria did this on purpose, when she knew it was a pre-planned romantic dance meant for Brooklyn and Nicola. What she couldn’t understand was why,” they added.

“It was such a jaw-dropping moment that it left the whole room in absolute shock — you could hear a pin drop,” the insider continued. “It wasn’t appropriate.”

Another source also told the outlet that “everyone in the room witnessed what happened.”

“The shock was palpable. It was deeply hurtful,” they continued. “Unfortunately, this wasn’t a one-off. It’s a pattern that still happens to this day.”

One source also told People Magazine:

"While the pair have been noticeably absent from the Beckhams' recent functions, the relationship is definitely not beyond repair. They love and are always there for him. They’re just hurt and disappointed that he’s now playing no part in family life."

The outlet has also reported that earlier this month, the pair hired a lawyer, Jenny Afia, who once worked for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, in a bid for "reputation management."
