Actor and director Timothy Busfield has been accused of s*xual abuse. According to a report by KOAT, he faces two counts of criminal s*xual contact of a minor and another count of child abuse. One of the accusers claimed that Busfield inappropriately touched them when they were seven. They were working with Busfield on The Cleaning Lady. The media outlet mentions that the investigation began in November 2024. As per the court documents, the University of New Mexico Hospital told police officials that the children appeared to have been groomed. Initial accusations were that he had tickled the kids. Later, when they were interviewed further, they said that Busfield would also touch their privates. In a statement, Timothy Busfield previously said:“I don't remember it… If it happened, I don't remember… But it wouldn't be uncommon for me.”He claimed that the children were also given Christmas gifts. Moreover, he noted that the accusations only came forward because the children were not included in the new season of the show.
