Kelly Stafford and Matthew Stafford are proud parents to four daughters. They welcomed their twins, Sawyer and Chandler, on March 31, 2017.

Their third child, Hunter Hope, was born on August 16, 2018, followed by the birth of Tyler Hall on June 26, 2020.

In a recent episode of her The Morning After podcast, Kelly revealed a parenting tip to the listeners. While talking about taking weed gummies, she explained,

"Sometimes I feel like gummies make me a better parent. They calm me; it's like the glass of wine."

Kit Hoover joined the host on the June 16 podcast episode. She agreed to Kelly's statement on gummies and shared,

"I called it the glass of patience. By the time you get to bed and bath, it makes you a better parent."

The 36-year-old influencer confessed to feeling "a little guilty saying that." She further continued her conversation with Kit, elaborating,

"I feel a little guilty saying that. And it's not like I do it every night, but sometimes I'm like, s***, it has been a long day. I don't wanna rip my hair out or their hair out, so I am going to just top it off with a little gummy."

Hoover supported the mother of four and asked her to go easy and give herself a break, when "it's a s*** day, or the kids are acting s***, or you've had enough."

Kelly continued her supportive message, conveying,

"It's like, don't sweat that small stuff. You are gonna blink [and] they're grown up, and you're gonna laugh so hard about all the shenanigans."

It appears Matthew Stafford also shares a perspective similar to Kit's about parenthood. Kelly Stafford looked back on her husband's support and care and continued the podcast, stating,

"This is what Matthew always tells me. He's like, 'As long as they're in bed, fed, and happy and feel loved, who cares?'"

Kelly also admitted she feels "a little" guilty about having a weed gummy before handling her kids. She later chimed in that her daughters also understand that something is different about their mother.

Recalling these moments, she described,

"My kids and I laugh, and I feel like they're like, 'Mommy's nice tonight.'"

Talking about how these gummies react to her, she remarked,

"And I get both sides. Some nights, I'm really mean. Some nights, I'm really nice. And I feel like that's a good balance."

Kelly Stafford has been refreshingly candid about motherhood. In a 2022 episode of her podcast, she opened up about her postpartum challenges, sharing,

"It was really hard on our marriage because of my feelings toward my own body. Saying it out loud, it seems selfish, but that's where I was."

As cited by People magazine, she also admitted feeling "insecure," adding,

"I was so insecure, I didn't understand why my body wasn't doing what I was seeing all these other bodies do, and I was also exhausted, because I'm trying to figure out how to take care of twins. I was in such a bad headspace, and I didn't know how to get out."

In addition to her podcast, she also expressed her thoughts on her pregnancy on Instagram.
