Filipino TV show host and member of the city council of Manila, Kim Atienza, has 3 children: Jose III, Eliana, and Emman Atienza. Kim's daughter, Emman, has passed away at 19, as per the family's joint social media statement on October 24, 2025. As per Los Angeles County records, the official cause of death was ligature hanging, and Emman was found dead at her home in Los Angeles.

While announcing Emman's death, the family said,

"It's with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our daughter and sister, Emman. She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her. Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn't afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone."

The statement continued,

"To honor Emman's memory, we hope you carry forward the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage, and a little extra kidness in your everyday life."

The family did not offer any details about the cause of her death.

Emman Atienza is the daughter of Filipino television presenter Kim Atienza and Felicia Hung, who is Taiwanese. Emman has also gained recognition for being a social media influencer and having over 208k followers on Instagram.

She has two siblings, Jose III and Eliana, who have been studying in the United States. Kim and his wife Felicia flew to the U.S in August 2022 to meet their children, Jose, who had been studying at Tufts University in Boston, and Eliana, who was taking a business course at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

While speaking to Pep.ph at the time, Kim Atienza opened up about his kids and said,

"One goes to Tufts University in Boston and then one, we had to bring to her school. She's now in U-Penn. And then another kid who's still staying with us. So we still have one kid. But the two kids are in the States now."

After graduating from school last year, Emman Atienza had been taking a gap year in which she did volunteer work, as per her appearance in KIlla Kush's YouTube video.

In 2024, Emman attended the GMA Gala Night alongside her father, Kim. She had earlier worked as a model for Farrah Model in the Philippines and also participated in the Coco Rocha Model Camp in 2022. Emman Atienza made her runway debut in Bench Fashion Week in 2022.
