Olivia Jade Giannulli was spotted for the first time since news of her celebrity parents Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli's split broke out.
The Daily Mail has reported that the influencer, 26, was seen sporting a white mini dress and black heels while on her way to the Coperni Paris Fashion Week Show. She accessorized her look with some statement sunglasses and a black purse. Her brown tresses were reportedly styled by Kiley Fitzgerald, and she had Sandy Nicha do her makeup.
Lori Loughlin and Giannulli were married for almost three decades. They share daughters Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 25. Loughlin's representative, Elizabeth Much, spoke to People Magazine about their divorce proceedings:
"They are living apart and taking a break from their marriage," she said. "There are no legal proceedings at this time."
Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli's past scandals explored:
As reported by People Magazine, news of the couple's split comes on the heels of the duo listing their sprawling 11,800-square-foot mansion in Hidden Hills for $16.5 million earlier this year. They reportedly bought the home in 2020 for $9.5 million.
Lori Loughlin and her estranged husband were also infamous for pleading guilty to wire and mail fraud in May 2020. At the time, news broke out that they tried to shell out $500,000 for their daughters to get admission to the University of Southern California.
Per People Magazine and the Daily Mail, the parents were fraudulently designated as recruiters to the crew team, despite never having engaged in the sport. The investigation was codenamed Operation Varsity Blues by the Department of Justice, per People Magazine, and about 50 people were busted for bribery.
Lori Loughlin, who was previously married to investment banker Michael Burns, was ultimately sentenced to two months in jail, paired with a fine of $150,000 and 150 hours of community service. She went to a federal prison in Dublin, California, and was released late in 2020.
Her husband was sentenced to serve five months behind bars with a fine of $250,000 and 250 hours of community service. He went to jail in November 2020 and was later shifted to house arrest in April 2021, one month before his sentence was expected to end.
In her first interview out of jail, while she didn't address her scandal head-on, Lori Loughlin spoke to First Women about letting go of the past:
“Stuff happens to everyone,” she said, per Page Six. “We’ve all been in positions to ask for forgiveness but to ask for it, you have to learn and know how to give forgiveness, too."
She continued,
"My family wasn’t one to hold grudges. I didn’t grow up in a household where if you made a mistake, you weren’t forgiven. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes. So I was always told to let stuff go. And I think for your own health, you have to let things go because you can’t hang on to negativity. Life’s too short.”
As for Olivia, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant announced just this past July that she had shifted to Paris temporarily. In a YouTube vlog, she told her fan base,
"Good morning from Paris. This is going to be such a fun adventure to film, and I'm here for a little while, living, so I'm really excited to get some videos out for you guys." She titled the video, "I moved to Paris..."
