Mikayla Matthews is now a mother of four children.

On July 20, Matthews, alongside husband Jace Terry, announced the news of her daughter’s birth on social media via an Instagram post. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star wrote in the caption,

"7•17•25 🤍 our perfect baby girl is here.”

Mikayla Matthews also took to her Instagram stories to share another photo of her holding her newborn child and celebrating her birth. The reality star captioned the photo, writing:

"Can't wait to share all the details with you guys. We have just been so in love over here with our baby girl. She's everything we ever wanted and I'm just so happy."

According to her post, Matthews and Terry welcomed their daughter on July 17.

Before the birth of their newborn daughter, Mikayla Matthews and Jace Terry were already a family of 5. Their three children included two daughters, Tommie and Haven, and a son, Beckham, who is also their oldest.

In an interview with People Magazine, Mikayla shared that she and her husband broke the news of her pregnancy to their other children on Christmas Day.

"We waited until after my first ultrasound to tell them. We actually told them on the show, and they were so excited. They said Santa brought them a baby for Christmas. It was so sweet.”

In the same interview, Mikayla Matthews reflected on several topics. She also addressed the possibility of her family growing even larger someday, saying:

"It's so wild to me that we'll be a family of six. I feel like it's the Mormon in me coming out. I'm surrounded by Mormon culture still, and my husband's siblings all have so many kids. They're like, 'Once you hit three kids, you can have 10 kids.' That's kind of the mindset I have.”

Matthews continued,

"When people ask me how many kids I want, I'm like, 'I've always wanted three or four, but I could see myself having six.'"

The news of Mikayla Matthews’ most recent pregnancy also got its moment on air in an episode of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The reality star wound up revealing the news in a game of ‘pregnancy test roulette’ which occurred while taping the show’s second season. The episode eventually aired in May 2025.
