How many children does Nicole Franzel have? Big Brother star says new baby was '3 years in waiting'

Nicole Franzel and her husband, Victor Arroyo, are expecting their second child after three years of waiting and hoping. The couple who had their first kid in 2021 are now gearing up for kid number two. Big Brother fans are jumping with joy hearing this news. The couple took to Instagram to share the good news.

They wrote on Instagram on Sunday, August 24, 2025, as they announced her pregnancy. The winner of Big Brother in 2016, Franzel, showed off her baby bump while she posed with her 4-year-old son, Arrow, in a carousel of photos of the family on their farm:

“We are PREGNANT 🥹!! Praise Jesus!! A HUGE thank you to those who have been praying alongside us for this miracle. 3 years in waiting and God said it’s time 🥰🤍 our little family is growing!!”

One photo was of Arrow holding on to a shirt with the word "Brother" printed on it.

The couple had been trying for three years for another child, but they were not successful. As soon as she announced baby number 2, her comment section was filled with congratulatory messages for being open, making it easier for people with similar issues not to lose hope.

Nicole Franzel has been living with Victor Arroyo and their kid, Victor "Arrow" Arroyo IV, who was born in 2021, in Michigan on their farm.

The couple, who met in 2016 in season 18 of Big Brother, started dating soon after the show ended. After getting engaged in 2018 in a special episode of Big Brother, the couple got married in 2021, as they had to keep postponing their wedding three times because of COVID-19. The couple told Us Weekly after getting married:

“It feels amazing! We’ve been waiting for this moment for so long and it’s finally happened. All the stress of having a wedding is lifted off our shoulders. Now all our attention is focused on having a healthy and happy baby.”

In a recent interview in July 2025, the couple showed interest in returning to reality TV when asked which show they would like to be on. Victor picked Survivor:

“Survivor! My strategy would still be the same [as Big Brother]. Just try to win as many competitions as I can, but I’d like it for the experience, to try to see if I can do that, live out there and compete and stay mentally strong.”

While Nicole Franzel picked Traitors and Dancing With the Stars as the shows she would like to return to:

“Mine would be Traitors because I like games where there’s not much physical activity. And then I think Dancing With the Stars. That’s very physical, so I guess that could be a problem, but it would be so fun.”
