Dermot Mulroney has three children, two daughters, Mabel Ray and Sally June with Prima Apollinaare and a son, Clyde with ex-wife, Catherine Keener. As per court documents obtained by People, Mulroney signed a petition to dissolve his marriage on June 21. He has cited irreconcilable differences, and listed the date of separation as "TBD."

Mulroney is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their two daughters, Mabel, 17, and Sally, 15. As per the documents, Dermot Mulroney is also seeking spousal or domestic partner support, and is requesting the termination of the court's ability to award support to Apollinaare. He has asked the attorney's fees to be split between the two of them. A source while speaking to People said,

"No one is asking for anything, and no one is denying anything. They are not arguing over the children nor money. They used mediators, not lawyers, as they are friends and this is amicable. They were advised to file this way which seems to have caused media confusion."

While the two are yet to decide on the division of their assets. Dermot Mulroney in the court documents indicated that "all community earnings and accumulation during marriage through the date of separation" should be considered community property.

Dermot Mulroney met Prime Apollinaare in 2008 after divorcing his ex-wife, actress Catherine Keener. The two started dating in the same year, and welcomed their first daughter in that same year. They had their second daughter shortly after, and tied the knot in December, 2010.

The couple were brought together over their shared love for music, along with acting. While Mulroney is a professional cellist with contributions to movies such as Planet of the Apes and Mission: Impossible franchise, Apollinaare is a singer-songwriter.

While speaking to the New York Post in 2010, however, Mulroney revealed that his wife was not a fan of his horror movies, which included movies like Scream IV, saying,

"I don't think she'll probably even see this movie because I know what her tolerance is. She can't even look at half of the posters."

The two had earlier worked together on Mulroney's film projects. In 2010, Apollinaare was listed as one of Mulroney's producing partners for a biopic he was set to direct.

Dermot Mulraney was previously married to Catherine Keener in 1990, and the two separared in May, 2005, before David filed for divorce in 2007. The two share a son together, Clyde.
