Finesse2Tymes took to social media to mourn the demise of one of the mothers of his children.

The Memphis rapper, 33, opened up about navigating grief in a post on Instagram on Tuesday, October 1. He told his followers he needed space after losing the mother of his child, though he didn't specify which mom. As of this writing, it remains unclear who he was referring to.

Finesse2Tymes welcomed a daughter with his girlfriend, FNG Shugga, in June last year. He also helped welcome a daughter, Sincere Heavenly Hampton, with Nia Love. He initially thought the child was his, though he shared a paternity test on Instagram in October last year, explaining that he later learned otherwise.

In his recent post on Instagram, Finesse2Tymes also outlined his struggles with CPS over one of his daughters:

“I ain’t gone lie, Right now its best mf leave me alone, I’m fighting cps about my youngest daughter, And my oldest daughter and my middle daughter mama just died,” Finesse2tymes wrote, per The Shade Room.

He also opened up to fans about preparing for life as a single parent, expressing concern that he didn't have his own father to look up to:

“So now I’m about to have to learn how to be a single parent and don’t know S**T because I ain’t have no daddy, Can’t call my mama.” He added, “I don’t want nun but money and peace leave me alone I’m telling ya pressure bust pipes."

Per the outlet, he was referring to his fallout with his mother, Pluria Alexander. In August, she took to social media to ask fans for donations after alleging that Finesse2Tymes stopped paying her bills. She also accused him of causing her eviction and being abusive. The rapper has yet to address her allegations.

“This is the third time my son’s actions have left me homeless, and each time it becomes harder to recover. My landlord has given me just a few days to pay, and I expect an eviction filing this week. I’m doing everything I can to stay close to my family and maintain my health, but the stress is overwhelming. I struggle with anxiety and depression and the emotional toll of narcissistic abuse from my son has made things even harder,” Pluria wrote in her alleged GoFundMe’s description.

Back in October 2024, Finesse2Tymes had the internet buzzing when he announced that the child he'd been calling his daughter, Sincere, wasn't biologically his.

At the time, he shared a screenshot of the paternity test confirming the results, paired with a long caption outlining his feelings:

“I can love u so much to the point were I won’t cut u off,” he began. “I’ll ask god if this person ain’t right , Remove them from my life , And in mysterious ways things happen and I never question it , Just know this , I ain’t take no L , I learned a Lesson.”

He continued, attributing the news to karma for having mistreated women in the past:

“They say what goes around comes around,” he wrote. “U reap what u [sow] , what go up gotta come down , Crazy thing is , I’m prepared , I respect the universe , and I respect the game. Everybody that know me know how much I love my kids , know how much this effected me , But i wish u the best , Just gone kill ya with success , Art of war mind body n soul.”

Per Vibe, he took the test after his mother confirmed she had taken one too and learned that the child was not her biological granddaughter, as they only had a 0.14% genetic match.

“THE RESULTS ARE IN and I’m MAD AS MF,” she wrote. “Why! Just why! You allowed our family to bond with this baby knowing it was a possibility somebody else could be her daddy @1finesse2tymes. I’m sorry to have to be the [bearer] of bad news but you ARE NOT THE FATHER and I AM NOT THE GRANDMA. Nia you hurt us with this one. From this day everybody getting DNA tested #liar.”

Finesse2tymes' girlfriend, FNG Shugga, reportedly left a comment under the post of the paternity test that read as follows:

“I love Sincere like my own.”
