Actor Jason Wahler, known for his role in The Hills, is ready to embark on his fatherhood journey for the third time. Wahler and his wife, Ashley Slack, welcomed a baby boy on May 8, 2025, but the good news came to light on May 12, 2025. They named their second son August Robert Wahler.
With that, Jason Wahler is now a father to three children. The couple has a son, Wyatt Ragle, and a daughter, Delilah Ray. Sharing a photo of the family with the newborn, the actor wrote:
“It’s a…….. Boy!!!! August Robert Wahler was born May 8th 2025 weighing 8lb 14oz Our family is finally complete.”
Meanwhile, Ashley shared a statement with People Magazine, reiterating Jason’s thoughts. She shared that everyone was happy that their family finally felt complete.
The children were in love with their new baby brother, and Delilah even acted like he was her child. Speaking about the baby’s birth and the hospital care, Ashley said:
“They have truly been the best little helpers. I’m so grateful for the incredible care at Williamson Health and my doctor, Heather Rupe, for providing the best experience for delivery.”
The couple got married in 2013. After Wyatt was born in June 2021, Jason Wahler expressed how proud he was of Ashley for enduring the painful childbirth. He described the experience as unforgettable and shared his excitement about raising their children, hoping to be a supportive and involved father like his dad.
Jason Wahler’s reflection on sobriety and mental health awareness
Jason Wahler shared a heartening video on Mother’s Day through Sobrsafe’s Instagram page. He especially thanked the mothers who play an instrumental role in their children’s sobriety and recovery journey. He said:
“I wanted to give a special shoutout to all the moms out there. First and foremost, I thank my mom who has been instrumental in my life and is somebody that never gave up on me, allowed me the opportunity to where I am at.”
He went on:
“Moreover, my wife, Ashley, who has been so imperative in my recovery journey. Without her, I probably would not be where I am at today. So, I just want to shout out to all those moms, but also say how important it is for those that are out there that are supporting people in recovery.”
In December 2024, the actor celebrated five years of being sober. He shared an Instagram post, expressing gratitude to God, his wife, family, and friends for standing by him.
Jason Wahler shared that his life had become something he genuinely appreciated and believed his struggle with addiction turned out to be a blessing, as it brought him closer to his faith and helped him grow into a better version of himself.
He also shared his message for Mental Health Awareness Month in May 2025. He spoke about how important it was to check in on people, especially since many were going through tough times, and a simple act of support could save a life.
Jason Wahler pointed out some troubling statistics about young people facing mental health struggles and encouraged others to make a difference by reaching out and showing they care.
