Kim Zolciak's daughter Ariana Biermann has alleged that her mom had her freckles zapped off at the age of 14.
The Next Gen NYC reality star, 23, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday to recount a laser procedure she underwent as a teenager, at the behest of her mother, to remove her freckles.
Kim Zolciak is most known for her time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. According to People Magazine, she has six children, four of whom she shares with NFL linebacker Kroy Biermann: Kroy Jr., Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane. She also has two daughters from a previous relationship: Brielle and Ariana. Kroy legally adopted both of them in 2013.

As she stamped on fake freckles on her face, Ariana Biermann explained:
“Every time I do my makeup, whether it’s a full face or just a little bit, I always put on freckles."
Ariana Biermann recalled her mother telling her she was in for "a facial," which she enjoyed, until a friend pointed out her skin was changing.
“Girl, where are your freckles going?” they asked her. She then questioned the “facial girl,” who told her, “Your mom told me that you didn’t like them and you wanted me to remove them with the facial, like, lasering them off.”
She said the procedure took her by surprise because she “love[d her] freckles.”
“I didn’t want them removed. Nobody said. Literally nobody said,” Biermann said.
Today, she still has a few spots on her face, but “more on one side of [her] face than the other.” She admitted to recently confronting her mother about the ordeal:
“She just started laughing,” Ariana Biermann said of her mom’s response, jokingly calling her a “jackass.” “Now I add them onto my face because I don’t have them anymore because somebody removed them. I didn’t want them removed. Nobody said. Literally nobody said,” she added. “So now, I am constantly stamping them on and trying to make them look even remotely like what mine looked like growing up.”
She also iterated that she loves her mother a lot, but the decision was “insane.”
Entertainment Now has reported that Zolciak responded to the video with a string of laugh-cry emojis. Per the outlet, the mother-daughter duo's bond was a focal point in season 1 of Next Gen NYC. Just earlier this year, Biermann accused her mom of spending her childhood earnings on bills and other expenses.
Zolciak later addressed the claim during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen, admitting that she resorted to "borrowing" the money during a tough time.
Over the summer, amid rumors that Ariana Biermann was spending her parents' money, she spoke to Us Weekly to set the record straight that “that’s obviously not the case.”
“I just continue to build up and make my own money, support myself as being a 23-year-old and just continue to try to take every opportunity I can to build back up everything,” she said. “I think I’m the [most] financially stable I’ve ever been in my life, which is awesome. And my mom’s doing great too,” Ariana added. “She’s working really hard and has a lot of great things going for her, and my dad’s working too — so everything’s going in the right direction and moving forward.”
