Patrick Renna welcomes a newborn girl with his wife, Jasmin.

Patrick Renna of ‘The Sandlot' fame has welcomed another little addition to their family. On 8 July, the actor's wife, Jasmin, gave birth to their first baby girl and third child.

Patrick shared the news on Instagram about the baby, whose name is Lily June Renna and was born at 2:49 a.m. and weighed in at 7 lbs. 7 oz. Along with several adorable images of Lily, the proud dad wrote in the caption,

"After three, I’m even more in awe of my wife and all moms out there. Mom is good. Baby is good. Brothers are good. Dad is … how much time you got?"

The post showcased baby Lily sleeping, along with photos with mom, dad, and her two older brothers. In February, the couple revealed they were pregnant with their third child, and though they were initially aware it was going to be a girl, due to a mixup, they thought a third son was on the way.

The couple told PEOPLE magazine, "We were convinced we were having our third boy because I mistakenly looked at our second son’s test results from 2020. Whoops! So, for two weeks, we were all set on welcoming another little guy — until the doctor called and told us the real news."

He continued, "Finding out we’re having a baby girl was the best surprise, and my wife, our two boys, and I couldn’t be more excited to meet her."

Patrick Renna, who is known for his work in the baseball film The Sandlot, Bad Roomies recurring role on Netflix's hit GLOW, and the independent film Monster Summer, married his wife, Jasmin, in 2006.

Since then, the pair has built a beautiful family. In April 2017, they welcomed their son, Flynn, followed by Liam in June. He joked about his performance as a dad,

“I call myself like a C-plus, B-minus dad. I'm not the worst, but I got some learning to do — that's for sure.”

The family of 4 announced their third child with a cute beach photoshoot where they were all dressed in grey sweatshirts and jeans, and Mama Jasmin was wearing a "Mama to be" sweatshirt.

While interviewing with PEOPLE, Patrick Renna, who played Hamilton "Ham" Porter in The Sandlot, reminisced about his days while working on his debut project,

"Those are the best memories because we truly were like brothers on and off the field. So the moments of back in the apartment complexes we were staying in, in the swimming pool, and just being buds over the summer. Those are the best memories."

Renna, who authored "A Little Slugger's Guide to the Unwritten Rules of Baseball and Life," also praised his wife for being an "incredible mother" and an "amazing partner and wife," showcasing their strong bond.
