Sex And The City alum Kim Cattrall has finally tied the knot with her long-time partner, Russell Thomas. Marrying for the fourth time, the sexagenarian wed the 54-year-old audio engineer in a secret ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London, with just 12 guests in attendance, as per PEOPLE Magazine.
The two first crossed paths in 2016, when Cattrall visited London to appear on an episode of the BBC's Woman's Hour radio program to speak about insomnia.
The couple shared a strong relationship, courting for over a decade. Interestingly, Cattrall, famous for portraying Samantha Jones in the popular SATC series, had turned down the offer to feature in its spin-off.
The Russell Thomas and Kim Cattrall Saga
In their more-than-a-decade-long romance, Cattrall has confessed to being head over heels for Thomas multiple times. In her profile with The Times of London earlier this year, she is reported to have said,
“We’ve been together almost 10 years now. And we’ve had a blast. We’ve just had so much fun.”
Continuing her praises for her beau, she said,
“He was an actor originally. He’s had an incredibly interesting life and really done it on his terms. He’s a bit of a rebel, which I love.”
In a 2020 interview with PEOPLE Magazine, she gushed,
“I’m very comfortable around him. He’s a firecracker and he’s got a wicked sense of humor. And he’s easy on the eyes!”
After their brief rendezvous in 2016, the duo kept in touch after she left the UK and returned to her native Canada. In a conversation with The Times, Cattrall recalled dealing with her brother's death by suicide with Thomas by her side,
“Life has surprises and trade-offs. It was a bad time, but I learned a tremendous amount. At the other end of it was this incredible, fun playmate.”
Cattrall has been married three times before Russell Thomas - writer Larry Davis (1977-1979), to architect Andreas Lyson (1982-1989), and to musician Mark Levinson (1998-2004). Interestingly, after her third divorce, she vowed never to marry again,
“I’ll never get married again. I don’t want children. I am self-sufficient.”

In an interview with EXTRA, Cattrall described her relationship with Russell Thomas as,
“There are elements of art and war, but in a very loving way, so yes, it checks every box I’ve ever had and then some, so we’re real good.”
The couple is yet to publicly acknowledge their nuptials.
