Scottie Pippen is not pleased with the rise of AI.
The Chicago Bulls legend took to his official X account to voice his frustrations on how acronyms are evolving into something entirely different than what they once were. He slammed the acronym AI, which now refers to Artificial Intelligence, and BBL, which now stands for Brazilian Butt Lift surgeries —a type of cosmetic enhancement. Pippen wrote on X (formerly called Twitter):
“I miss when AI stood for Allen Iverson and BBL stood for Be Back Later”
The post went viral within hours and has since gained over 150K views, prompting fans to wonder about Scottie Pippen's age. The 17-season NBA veteran and six-time NBA championship winner was born on September 25, 1965, making him 59 years old as of his writing.
Scottie Pippen is widely regarded as one of the greatest small forwards of all time, having held a strong role in popularizing the NBA on a global scale. He also helmed the transformation of the Chicago Bulls into a championship team.
Scottie Pippen's ex, Larsa Pippen, gets candid about leaving the relationship drama in the past
In other news, Scottie Pippen's ex-wife, Larsa Pippen, is opening up about leaving the relationship drama in her past. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum was married to the basketball legend from 1997 to 2018. During that time, they welcomed four children: Scotty Jr., Preston, Justin, and Sophia.
Larsa eventually moved on to Marcus Jordan, the son of legendary NBA alum Michael Jordan. They dated on-again-off-again for two years, with Larsa eventually moving on to her current boyfriend, Jeff Coby, in April.
In a recent interview with Yahoo! News, Larsa opened up about her current era:
"I'm just super happy right now. I feel like there's nothing better than being with someone where you can just sleep so well at night. I just sleep so well at night. I feel like my kids are doing so well. I'm just in a really good place all around."
Reflecting on the downfall of her relationship with Marcus last year, she said:
"Watching it back was really hard for me. I feel like l'm not one of those people who show all my emotions all the time. I kind of keep it to myself, and I feel like this season I really needed my friends. It was just kind of crazy to see how the people that I thought would be there for me really weren't this season."
The entire debacle unfolded on the latest season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and the reality television star said watching it now, in hindsight, is almost therapeutic. Larsa told the outlet:
"Where I am today compared to where I was a year and a half ago ... God is good."
She added:
"I feel like l'm in such a better place. I'm super happy and I'm just thriving."
