English actor Louis Partridge and singer Olivia Rodrigo have reportedly called off their two-year relationship. According to an exclusive report by The Sun, the now ex-couple split a few weeks ago. They started dating in 2023. According to a source:

“They made such a lovely couple so people who know them were shocked when they heard. It’s not been the easiest few weeks for them and they decided it’s better to be apart for now.”

The source also claimed:

“Olivia was at Lily’s party and emotional when she was talking about it. Her friends have rallied around her but it’s just been pretty rough. It’s really sad right now.”

As per reports, Rodrigo and Partridge knew each other through mutual friends. They initially spoke to each other through texts. Meanwhile, Harper’s Bazaar notes that in 2023, the singer went to London with her friend to meet Louis Partridge. In December that year, they were seen sharing a kiss in New York City.

In 2024, the couple attended Partridge’s Disclaimer at the Venice Film Festival. They even went out for a date during that time. They were spotted together at the 2025 Grammys. In July 2025, the duo went to Wimbledon. Speaking to Esquire U.K. earlier this year, Louis Partridge said:

“I was not aware that was going to be a thing. I did see a lot of photos from that; it felt quite public. Olivia and I choose, or have been choosing, to not be so public. Obviously, it has been quite a big summer for her with Glastonbury, but there’s a sanctity to being private.”

Louis Partridge plays Mr. Wickham in an upcoming work

In October 2025, Louis Partridge was a guest on the Skip Intro Podcast, hosted by Krista Smith. They spoke about Partridge’s upcoming Netflix series based on Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice.” When Smith asked about how he felt about playing Wickham, the actor said:

“Oh gosh, I feel a bit intimidated sitting opposite you, who's clearly better researched than me. But I suppose Wickham would be the, he would be the badie or, yeah, one of the antagonists of the story. Although obviously when you're playing that, you're not gonna go around thinking you're a badie. I don't suppose anyone really acts thinking that they're doing the wrong thing a lot of the time. And so yeah, I'm loving him.”

Speaking about Wickham, Louis Partridge went on to say:

“He's a cheeky fellow. He has a way with words. He's got the gift of the gab. And he is got all the charm, and it usually works. Except on Elizabeth. She can sort of see through it. And it's a fantastic cast and brilliant director.”

Louis Partridge said he was happy to be working with his castmates and other members. He said just like Enola Holmes, this was another “period piece” for him.” The actor said that doing such work made him learn about the clothes from that period. He said he could know what kind of clothes people wore and why.
