How did Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt meet? Comedian reportedly opens up about relationship with model

At the premiere of The Home, Pete Davidson shared something more personal than usual, talking about how he met his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt. The comedian and actor spoke to E! News during the premiere of his film.

"We both met through mutual friends who were just like, 'You guys should meet,' and then we met, we weren't really looking for anything and we immediately were just like, 'Oh, wow.'" he explained.

Now expecting their first child together, the couple appears to be thriving. Pete Davidson summed it up:

"I would say she's female me and I'm male her. We just laugh all day."

Elsie Hewitt can’t stop gushing over Pete Davidson:

Elsie Hewitt didn’t try to play it cool, not when it came to Pete Davidson. The two made their red carpet debut at the Endometriosis Foundation of America’s Blossom Ball in NYC, and even though it had only been a couple of months since dating rumors started, Hewitt seemed completely smitten. She talked about Pete in an interview with People.

“He is so incredible, honestly, best person I've ever met, and I'm so grateful that he's here tonight,” she said.

The model has been open about dealing with endometriosis in the past, so this night wasn’t just about taking photos; it meant something, especially with Pete Davidson beside her.

“It was just really important to both of us to come here and support the foundation and keep helping, spreading the word and educating people,” she said.

And while the couple kept things mostly private, she let slip a few details about how Pete Davidson shows up when she’s not feeling her best.

“Pete sets me up with a little heating pad, and it's very sweet, and I just eat whatever, I'm like, I will allow myself to eat whatever I want and just snuggle up and watch a movie and get cozy.” she shared

Then she added the line that showcased her appreciation for her boyfriend:

“Everyone deserves a Pete!”

Pete Davidson confirms he’s expecting a baby with Elsie Hewitt:

During an interview with E! News, the comedian said his famous friends have been very supportive ever since he shared the baby news.

"Everybody's just been super excited for me, because they know it's been my dream," he said.

"They all just have been like, 'You're going to be great at this. It's the best thing you'll ever do in your life.'" he added

One of those friends was Adam Sandler, who Davidson said “gave me some great advice.”

“It's been really nice that everyone's super excited,” he explained.

Pete Davidson couldn’t hide his excitement as he talked about becoming a father on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He described becoming a dad as a lifelong dream come true.

“For anybody who knows me it’s my dream to be a dad, so I’m so excited, Elsie’s excited. I’m excited to see her be a mom. So we’re stoked.”

In addition to sharing his baby news, Davidson talked with Fallon about his current stand-up tour and two upcoming movies: The Home, a psychological thriller, and The Pickup, a heist comedy co-starring Eddie Murphy and Keke Palmer.
