Younger brother of King Charles III and the Duke of Edinburgh, Andrew Albert Christian Edward Mountbatten Windsor, commonly known as Prince Andrew, is currently making headlines following the news of his ties with the late Jeffrey Epstein. According to US Weekly, amid his sexual assault scandal, King Charles III would strip Prince Andrew of his titles and honors.
As per US Weekly, an official notice was released for Andrew regarding the matter on October 20, 2025. The 65-year-old Andrew, who is the second son and the third child of Queen Elizabeth II, was asked to leave Royal Lodge and give up the lease. He will be shifting to a different property on the private Sandringham estate, and his future accommodation will be taken care of by Prince Charles.
As per US Weekly, King Charles would be formally starting the process to strip Andrew of his style, titles, and honors. An official statement from Buckingham Palace reads:
"Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accomodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him."
The statement further added:
"Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse."
How does Prince Andrew make his money?

Prince Andrew, who would be stripped of his titles and honors by King Charles for his involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein sexual assault scandal, makes his money from multiple sources, some of which are still kept private. However, according to The Guardian, Andrew's income includes his Royal Naval pension.
Andrew is no longer officially funded by the royal family, nor does he receive public funding. However, according to The Guardian, public records state that he received payments from the public purse between 1978 and 2010.
Andrew's only publicly declared income is £20,000 a year, which is his Royal Naval pension he gets for serving in the navy from 1979 to 2001. After his links to the Epstein scandal were exposed, many of his royal privileges were cut down. As a result, he will be receiving private provision directly from King Charles.
Andrew's past income includes the Sovereign Grant, which was £250,000 per year. He has also previously sold assets, including the chalet Helora lodge in Switzerland, whose lease he got for £1 million and sold for £18 million after spending £7.5 million renovating it. As per The Guardian, when it came to public money, the last known amount he received was £249,000.
