Hulk Hogan’s wife Sky Daily reveals pro-wrestler was dealing with 'health issues' 

American professional wrestler Terry Gene Bollea, commonly known as Hulk Hogan, died at the age of 71 on July 24, 2025. Following his unfortunate death, which came as a huge shock to his fans and pro-wrestling enthusiasts across the globe, Sky Daily, Hogan's wife, honored him in an emotional post on social media on July 25, 2025. In her post, Daily revealed that his late husband was going through health complications.

According to ABC News, local officials, including the Clearwater Police and Fire Department, received an emergency call regarding a cardiac arrest incident and responded to Hulk Hogan's Clearwater, Florida, residence in the morning around 10 a.m. Hogan, who is one of the most popular WWE wrestlers, was then taken to the Morton Plant Hospital, where he was declared dead.

The 46-year-old, Sky Daily, took to her official Instagram and paid her late husband a tribute by sharing a picture of them, in which Daily can be seen kissing Hulk Hogan on his cheek. Daily poured her heart out in the caption of the post, where she mentioned Hogan's health issues, which he was dealing with. While she called him a legend, she shared how difficult it had been dealing with his sudden death.

Daily also mentioned how Hulk Hogan's fans loved him and how he loved them back. She also shared that he believed in Christ. The caption of Sky Daily's Instagram post read:

"I wasn’t ready for this…and my heart is in pieces. He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time."

She went ahead and wrote:

"This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart."

Daily further added:

"Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him. He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home."

The post concluded:

"Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality."
