Latto and Eminem shared an intimate moment when the latter told her he loves her and is a big fan while on Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow, where he served as a guest judge. The songstress, however, feels she may have bombed it. Speaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show on December 4, she said,

"First of all, I was so gagged! I didn’t even know. I was like, ‘Oh I bombed that. He thinks I’m weird.’ Because I just was like, ‘Ahhh!’ I didn’t know what to say so I was like, ‘Ahhh thank you!’ My daddy listened to Eminem so much growing up."

Eminem says Latto is "incredible"; the latter says she felt a "little awkward"

She also revealed that she felt awkward asking the rap legend for a photo:

"That’s probably his favorite rapper, so it was just like, ‘Oh, don’t lie to me. For real?!’ and he was like, ‘Yeah!’ And then I asked for a picture and he said yes. He probably thinks I’m a little awkward.”

Eminem is featured on Rhythm + Flow's Episode 5, where he serves as a guest judge alongside permanent judge Latto and his longtime friends, Royce Da 5’9” and Mr. Porter, as well as the host, Troy "Smack" Mitchell. As for the moment he shared with Latto, the clip has since made it to X just last week when the episode came out. Ludacris and DJ Khaled also act as permanent judges of the show.

In it, he can be heard declaring his love for Latto:

"I love you, by the way. You’re f****** incredible.”

During the episode, she told host Jennifer Hudson that the Netflix series was meant to serve as a platform for aspiring artists in the rap and hip-hop arena. Latto, who released her third album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea, this August, added that it reminds her of where she started out from herself.

The 25-year-old rapper herself stood as a contestant on the show in 2016 and eventually went on to become the winner. Now, eight years later, she has returned as a judge. However, she maintained that she will always be an artist, first and foremost. She told Hudson:

"I be like, 'I'm a rapper. I make music. I'm not a reality TV star.'"

The 2025 Grammy-nominated rapper has been catching more than Eminem's eyes, though, as just this Halloween, during one of her shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, she brought A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Lil Kim out. It was there that Lil Kim declared her the "GOAT."
