As per a recent article by US Weekly, former NFL quarterback Matt Leinart recalled a blister that ruined his chance with Rihanna by spoiling a date.
Matt Leinart said on the July 17 episode of the Throwbacks podcast that he took Rihanna to Teddy's nightclub inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel after going on a couple of dates with her.
"The whole time we’re at a little table and I’m sitting across from her, I couldn’t make eye contact, dude" Leinart exclaimed
He further gave details of the incident, and that the big blister spoiled his date.
“The problem was I had this f***ing ginormous blister on my lip. Dude, I can’t even.” said during an episode of his podcast.
Leinart further explained how he got the blister and that he would never forget how anxious he was before going out with Rihanna with the blister.
"I would get these sun blisters. I felt like when I used to be super fat when I was little and I was afraid to take my shirt off at P.E. You know when you’re so embarrassed you’re like, ‘’Please don’t look at me.’”
"I don't know who in my world was like, ‘Dude, you’re okay, bro. You’re going to be f***ing fine. You’re going to be fine,’” Leinart remembered. “I was like, ‘No, I’m f***ing not!’”
Rihanna has been dating ASAP Rocky since 2020 and shares two children with the rapper, with another child on the way. Meanwhile, Matt Leinart has been married to Josie Loren since 2018. The couple shares three children together: Cayson, Cannon, and Camila.
