Allison Williams solidified her star status with a brilliant performance in 2017’s Get Out and hasn’t looked back since. In a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Williams decided it was the right time to issue an apology on behalf of her younger self.
The Girls alum eventually got around to telling a story about how she used to find it "amusing" to kick her male classmates "in the b*lls" with wooden clogs during grade school.
The anecdote came up organically as Allison Williams brought up her podcast with co-hosts Hope Kremer and Jaymie Oppenheim. Williams mentioned how the trio discussed fashion items they wore when they were younger, which jogged her memory about her past antics:
"It was designed to break your ankle, like, as efficiently as possible, and it had this thick wooden sole. The thing I associate the most with it — and this is horrible, and this is a mea culpa — but in fourth grade, I found it amusing to see what happened to the boys in my grade when I kicked them in the b*lls with that shoe."
When a clearly baffled Kelly Clarkson posed,
"Just curious, what happened?"
Williams then went on to elaborate on how the “ball-kicking” would significantly alter their behavior,
"These boys in fourth grade, the number one thing as a boy — in my school, at least — was nothing fazes you, nothing's happening, I have a hoodie and no one can see me and I'm not here. When they got kicked in the b*lls, suddenly this version of them would emerge that was nauseous and crying," she continued. "I was like, 'Wow, this is a different side of you that I'm seeing.'"

Before moving on from the topic completely, Allison Williams offered her most sincere apologies,
"To all the boys I went to school with, I am so sorry. I hope it caused no permanent damage."
The actress then pivoted to how the lessons of her childhood have impacted her parenting by,
"informing what I now need as information for the mother of a boy who now possesses those."
She also issued a light-hearted warning to anyone attempting to inflict a similar fate to her son Arlo,
"And to all the future people in Arlo's life, if any of you kick him in the balls, I'm coming for you."
Allison Williams is engaged to German actor Alexander Dreymon. The pair welcomed Arlo to the world in November 2021. Williams made her red carpet debut with Dreymon at the Los Angeles premiere of her horror-comedy M3GAN that same year.
