Tylor Chase, who starred in the 2004 Nickelodeon sitcom Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, has recently shocked netizens after he was spotted roaming the streets of Riverside in California wearing shabby clothes, as per the Daily Mail. The former child actor, now 36 years old, played the character of Martin Qwerly in the popular Nickelodeon show and starred in all three seasons before it was canceled.
Tylor Chase quickly became the talk of the town following the release of a video of him online, shocking netizens with his unrecognizable appearance. Chase, who was 15 at the time, he was cast in the Nickelodeon sitcom, in a conversation with the Daily Mail on December 22, 2025, said:
"It's not too shabby. Life always gets better, keep your head up."
According to the Daily Mail, the Arizona-based former child actor, Tylor Chase, who used to share videos on YouTube in 2014 of his poetry readings, also tried to self-publish a couple of his fantasy novels in 2020. However, while Chase failed at his artistic pursuit, he eventually ended up on the streets of California.
Despite his untidy appearance, Chase looked enthusiastic during his conversation with the Daily Mail, and insisted that he had friends and family who provided him with shelter and food. Tylor Chase said:
"It's not really like that, I have friends and family. I stay around here locally. My mom is here. I have a lot of good people helping me. It's not too shabby. A lot of people help out. It goes a long way."
Chase further added:
"I have family and friends, and the housing shelter assistance program. There's graceful charity from the grace of God's family people. That's a pretty chill aspect of it all. It's a true privilege, obviously."
Tylor Chase refuses food and instead asks for marijuana
While speaking with the Daily Mail, when Chase was offered food, he surprisingly asked for marijuana instead. He mentioned to the outlet how he enjoys vaping and consumes drugs such as Adderall, Prozac, Wellbutrin, Sudafed, and Zoloft, which he reportedly claimed were prescribed to him by a psychiatrist.
Tylor Chase also talked about how he was thinking of moving to Georgia to get into 'a housing program.' He said:
"I'm not really active homeless at this time, I'm thinking that I would like to go to see my dad, relatively shortly, in the state of Georgia."
Chase added:
"I have the whole setup to stay out there, a room out there hopefully... Probably a housing assistance program in Georgia most likely.
