Fight Club star Brad Pitt, whose brand-new movie F1 is about to hit the theaters soon, during the New York City premiere of the film on June 16, 2025, in an exclusive interview with People, opened up about his recent hairstyle. The 61-year-old Pitt, who has lately been flaunting a classic buzzcut, shared the actual reason behind his current look.
Brad Pitt, who was previously married to high-profile actresses such as Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie, is currently in a romantic relationship with Ines de Ramon, a Switzerland-based jewelry executive. At the New York premiere of F1, Brad Pitt was accompanied by Ramon, who was earlier married to the Vampire Diaries alum, Paul Wesley, from 2019 to 2024.
Pitt, while talking about his current buzzcut hairstyle, revealed to People:
"I just finished a job."
As he teased a little, Brad added:
"It's for a character we did."
Directed by established filmmaker Joseph Kosinski, who is widely known for collaborating with Tom Cruise on blockbusters like Top Gun: Maverick and Oblivion, the sports drama F1 follows Sonny Hayes, portrayed by Brad Pitt, a promising Formula 1 driver, whose life changes after an accident. After thirty long years, things take a different turn when Sonny returns to the tracks to try his luck at becoming the best F1 driver in the world.
Brad Pitt is not only the lead in the film but is also one of the producers of the movie, along with celebrated British F1 driver Lewis Hamilton. The upcoming sports drama film that is scheduled to be released on June 27, 2025, besides Pitt also features prominent faces like Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Damson Idris, and others.
Brad Pitt reveals some of his favorite moments from shooting F1

During his interview with People, Pitt shared some of his favorite memories and moments from shooting Joseph Kosinski's sports drama film, F1. The Inglorious Basterds actor said:
"I got a lot. I got a lot, but every time I got in the car, these tracks are just like hallowed ground. Silverstone. Spa in Belgium was the most memorable. Abu Dhabi. We really got spoiled."
Pitt went ahead and revealed what it was like for him to drive an F1 car at such high speed in the movie, compared to driving normal cars in day-to-day life. Pitt said:
"There's a strange calm in the car when you're hitting everything. You're hitting your breaking points and hitting your turning points. It's such a piece. I can't even describe it. Yeah, it's incredible."
