Orlando Brown will not be working with Ray J unless he's 100% sober.

The former Disney star cum rapper took to his Instagram Live calling out Ray J to prove that he's clean before they begin collaborating. In a heartfelt plea, he revealed to fans that he offered the entertainer a job, but only if he could first prove that he was sober.

“I mean, I know how much you like to go viral, and I know how much you want to be the king of viral again, but that title you have lost,” Brown said. “I asked you over 48 hours ago to post your test results, because I wanted to work with you, but I’m not going to work with you if you’re hot.”

He also said that he had a "bag" ready for Ray J:

“I don’t even know if you care, because you just… You’re everywhere right now, bro,” he continued. He threatened: “If you’re not sober, I don’t want to deal with you. I’m not doing no challenge with you. This is a challenge. It’s called the Get Sober Challenge. Okay? And you failed.”

For the unversed, Brown has long struggled with substance abuse, though in recent months, he has maintained his sobriety, Ballet Alert has reported.

Orlando Brown and Ray J's viral moments over the years explored:

Orlando Brown and Ray J are characterized by their lighthearted friendship. Just this past October, the two made a guest appearance on Funny Marco's show, where they spawned several moments that eventually went viral online. Ray J even acknowledged it when he told his friend at the time:

“We keep going viral too much,” prompting Brown to ask, “Who me?” Ray J replied, “You do too." “No, I do,” Brown said. “I do too,” Ray J shot back.

Orlando Brown jokingly noted at the time that he was the only one among them to ever go viral, which elicited a protest from Ray J:

“I go viral,” he said, to which Brown responded, “No, you don’t.”

Ray J then decided to put things to a vote:

“Can we vote? How many more times has Orlando been viral than Ray J?” He turned to Brown and said: “It’s not even a comparison. You’re the little homie. Brown disagreed: “Okay, but I’m the big homie now,” he shot back.

Marco, on the other hand, sat awkwardly between the two men as they debated their popularity.

As for who really did go viral more times, Complex has pointed out that Ray J had his viral moment back in 2007, when his intimate video with Kim Kardashian leaked. He also had a moment in 2016, when he sang Hanson’s MMMBop while recounting his history with Raven-Symoné.

He also spawned a well-known meme in 2019, when he sat down for an interview with Complex’s Speedy Morman. At the time, he suggested that his specs were "unbreakable," and when Speedy wrecked them in under a second, Ray J declared,

“I don’t care.”

Orlando Brown, on the other hand, is most known for his 2016 track, Fuck My Fame, which sees him make outrageous claims, including that he would be running for president, among other things.

Three years later, he dropped the music video for his famed track Coming To America, where he could be seen mimicking Donald Trump, petting animals in a zoo, serenading from the top of a lighthouse, and more.

“God bless America/ Everybody want come to America/ I live in America/ God bless America,” Orlando Brown's song goes.
