"I left everything for him": Julia Bonilla shares heart-wrenching statement amid rumors of separation from Rudy Gobert

Julia Bonilla is heartbroken over rumors of a separation from Rudy Gobert.

The Minnesota Timberwolves star Rudy Gobert's girlfriend, Julia Bonilla, shared a gut-wrenching message after the breakup as she expressed going through this time alone. The couple shares a child, and this breakup occurred one year after the birth. In an Instagram story, the podcast host shared,

"I'm going through one of the most painful times in my life, feeling isolated far from my family and friends. I considered Rudy the love of my life. I left everything for him.

"I gave him a child and poured my heart into our relationship. When everyone criticized and insulted him, I stood by him, always putting him first and choosing him, always."

"Despite how I have been treated, I chose to protect his name for the sake of my children. I am a mom and I must prioritize my health and well being. Thank you for respecting my privacy during this challenging time."

In the past as well, Julia has defended Rudy as his partner. In 2024 he was voted the "most overrated" player in the NBA; she was quick to come to his defense and posted on Instagram,

"My partner is the most dedicated, focused, hard-working person I have ever met. He hasn't stolen anything from anyone and deserves all the respect for his determination and commitment to his career."

Per TMZ, the basketball center also asked Julia and their son to move out of his place while she was pregnant with his second child, though there has been no confirmation on that front yet.

Rudy Gobert releases statement

However, there wasn't complete radio silence, as Rudy also posted his side on his own Instagram story. In his story, he expressed that there is “a lot of inaccurate information out there,”

Rudy Gobert further stated, “Julie and I are currently in the painful process of redefining our coparenting relationship.”

The couple is currently working through a custody process to co-parent together.
