"I was looking at this man like who are you?" - Ashley Adionser of Love Is Blind fame opens up about her divorce from ex Tyler Francis

During a recent appearance on What's the Reality podcast, Love is Blind alum Ashley Adionser opened up about her divorce from Tyler Francis. Ashley revealed details about their marriage after Francis' sperm donor past came to light.

"I was looking at this man like who are you? It was so dark, it was like anything I've ever experienced in my actual life."

Ashley revealed that the news surprised her since the details were spilled on a dating show. In the show, Francis dropped the bomb, saying that he was a sperm donor and had three biological children. However, at the time, Francis insisted that he had no relationship with the children he fathered, and didn't even know what they looked like.

Once Ashley Adionser came to terms with the revelation, accepted his past, and moved on before tying the knot in the finale, Tyler's relationship with his biological children went viral on social media. Photos of Francis spending Christmas morning in matching pajamas with his alleged kids made waves online, and he was rumored to owe money in child support.

"As you know, anything that you say in the pods, and anything that you say while filming is law. It is vital that you stick to it. I even go back and forth on my head if he ever loved me. They don't think the love is real from Love is Blind, but it is! It was for me."

Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis split in January 2025, after meeting on Love is Blind Season 7, and tying the knot in the season finale.

The two split after a little more than a year of marriage, and in a statement to People at the time, they announced their split.

While speaking on What's the Reality podcast in a recent episode about details of their marriage, Ashley Adionser revealed that she didn't expect their marriage to end this way.

"This was someone I made vows with. My faith is important to me, we said this before God. I had to see it through. I never wanted to get divorced. Tyler has taken enough from me, he cannot take that as well."

However, despite social media revelations of Tyler's past going viral, the reality star stuck to his side of the story, maintaining that he was merely a sperm donor, and not a "father figure" to the children.
