In April 30's episode of Summer House, Amanda Batula and Kyle went out on a lunch date in New York City, when they discussed their future plans, and having children. The two have been planning for children for a while now, but have been having fertility issues.

When Kyle told Amanda that his doctor suggested that he take a fertility test, Amanda responded by saying that she was in a "weird place." Kyle was giving her updates on his bloodwork report and mentioned,

"There was just one thing that was a little concerning. He was like, ‘You should take a fertility test,’ because my testes were like, working overtime to basically pump out semen.”

To which Batula responded, saying,

"I’m in like a weird place. Because there’s some days where I feel like, why am I not pregnant right now? Like, what are we doing? Why are we wasting our time? And then there’s other days where I’m like, should I even have kids?”

Batula noted that she had been questioning parenthood for a year since she struggled with "taking care" of herself at times, and wondered if she would be able to take care of an additional being. Amanda Batula's words surprised Kyle since he mentioned that, "90% of the blood, sweat and tears" he had put into his company, Loverboy, was for their future and kids.
