Holly Madison recently addressed her difficult time with Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner. Madison appeared on the May 2 episode of the podcast In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele. Madison, who was married to Pasquale Rotella from 2013 to 2019, spoke about her relationship with Hugh Hefner.
Holly Madison was in a relationship with Hugh Hefner from 2001 to 2008. She resided at the Playboy Mansion during the period of her relationship with Hefner. Madison, during the podcast, spoke about certain activities at the playboy mansion which greatly disturbed her. While responding to Thiele’s question about her physical experience with Hefner, Madison said,
“Well, it is a very different story, between when we were just like by ourselves than like with everybody else in the room. Everybody else in the room. No, that was disgusting. I hated it. I made it very known I hated it. But if it was just me and him, it was very like a lot normal than you would think.”
While she spoke about group s*x at the Playboy Mansion with disgust, Madison argued that the age difference between her and Hefner did not play such a big role.

Madison, who was 21 at the beginning of her relationship with Hefner, who was 75 at the time, shared,
“I think everybody has this horror story about like how gross an old man’s body must be…but everybody kind of looks same in the dark…he is like the perfect gentleman and it is all very intriguing”
Holly Madison reiterated some of her views about staying at the Playboy Mansion. Of late she has been vocal about her experience at the infamous mansion. Describing the lack of control and freedom in her life while she was staying at the Playboy Mansion, she shared,
“You lived in this situation where you had zero control, you did not know who would show up, who was going to be in the bed room the next day”
Holly Madison also revealed that Hefner attempted to ‘bribe’ her to stay when Madison had decided to split with the Playboy magazine founder after 7 years together.
Holly Madison’s career after leaving the Playboy Mansion, explored
After Holly Madison broke up with Hugh Hefner in 2008, she went on to reinvent herself with her own reality show, titled, Holly's World. The show, which ran from 2009 to 2011, documented Madison’s new life in Las Vegas after she left Hefner’s Playboy Mansion.

Madison had shared that as there were lots of things that she did not speak about while she was a resident at the Playboy Mansion, she was determined to carve out an independent space for herself after leaving the Los Angeles residence.
