At the time, he alleged that her claims damaged his reputation and served her with a legal notice about the same. AllHipHop has reported that his lawyers described her claims as “entirely false, defamatory and misleading," and that the BMF actor has “never been involved in a romantic or intimate relationship” with Powell. However, Powell shot back by sharing an alleged audio of him asking her to delete her posts, claiming that he was struggling financially. In it, he can be heard saying: “I’m begging you, please delete this stuff. This is my reputation, bro. I apologize for saying what I said to you. Celine, I said that to get the post deleted, Celine. That’s not how I tried to make you seem. I apologize for that.” Nontheless, Powell shared the legal notice on her Instagram Story and dragged her alleged ex with yet another scathing remark: “I have nothing to do with that weirdo Demetrius aka meme (Lil Meech to y’all). Please leave me alone about him,” Powell wrote, expressing favor with Summer Walker's previous sentiments.
