"I probably would have" — When Jessi Ngatikaura talked about her swinging past

Jessi Ngatikaura gave fans an insight into her opinions on being a "swinger" in her current marriage.

As reported by People Magazine, during a September 2024 episode of Scheana Shay’s Scheanigans podcast, Jessi reflected on rumors that she may have gotten intimate with someone outside of her marriage with Jordan Ngatikaura.

Admitting that they do not have an open relationship, she shared:

“I'm always the type of person that's like I'll say yes to anything once but as far as like being a swinger within my marriage now, no," she said. However, Jessi said she understands why someone would “open that door” if they’re in a rocky relationship, adding, “In my first marriage, I'm not going to lie, I probably would have.”

Following an explosive season 2 finale of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, where word got out that Jessi Ngatikaura, 32, allegedly got intimate with Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette, fans were left wondering about the state of Jessi and Jordan's marriage.

According to She Knows, during the ninth episode, Layla Taylor invited Brunette on set to clear the air about the alleged affair. However, not only did he confirm that he had gotten intimate with Jessi Ngatikaura, he claimed to also have had a connection with Demi Engemann.

“One thing led to another. Oh, more than [us making out],” he said of himself and Jessi. “We have tried meeting up [to continue the affair],” he said. “Jordan doesn’t know the truth about how extensive it was. It was not just a one-time hookup thing. It was not some one-night stand.”

The season concluded with an ominous “To Be Continued” message, as well as footage of the aftermath of the allegation, which shows both Jessi and Jordan looking visibly distressed.

As for whether the pair is still together, She Knows has pointed out that it seems like they are. In a May 11 post on Instagram, Jordan penned a vote of thanks to his wife and mother of his children:

“Happy Mother’s Day to the heart of our family,” he wrote. “There are so many things I admire about Jessi, but the way you love and mother our kids is something I’m endlessly grateful for. Your strength, your softness, and the way you show up for them every single day is nothing short of beautiful.” “You were made to be their mom and they are so lucky to have you. Through all of life’s ups and downs, I still choose you. I still love you every single day,” he added.

She Knows has also reported that Jordan and Jessi Ngatikaura both attended the season two premiere of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, though they didn't pose for any photos together.
