MO3's former manager, Brandon Rainwater, is speaking out following his arrest just days ago for filing an allegedly fabricated police report.
One of the charges Rainwater faced on July 11, 2025, was "false report inducing emergency response." His bond was not available, and he was held at the Denton County Sheriff's Office. However, in a new video circulating on X, the internet personality can be seen refuting the notion that it was his fault, as he alleged that he was being 'targeted'.
"Everybody wanna know what happened in jail. I see the police, I try to drive past them smooth and calm. I'm allegedly tipsy, so he get beside me, and when he do that, I'm trynna be far away from that motherf*cker as possible. So I get over to a point, but he was sitting there waiting on me."
He recalled getting pulled over, before adding,
"They got me for making a false police report. I can't remember where they came from. I got my lawyers on it right now. Like I was targeted that day. Hopefully, we get this resolved down," he said. "Soon as I got in there, they knew who I was, they let me get dressed."
He then recalled being denied bond initially, though in the end, things worked out for him and he heard the "sweet" words, "Mr. Rainwater, you're leaving."
As of this writing, further details about the debacle remain unclear, including what the police report was about and whether he was wrongly arrested. Law enforcement officials have yet to issue a statement about the same.
Brandon Rainwater on his former client, rapper MO3's demise
Brandon Rainwater served as the manager of MO3, the Dallas rapper who was slain in November 2020. Born Melvin Noble, the rapper was shot dead. Rainwater said he was the talent's first and only manager, and they'd met six years prior.
At the time, he spoke to CBS News about the demise of the talent:
"I watched him rise as a star, from a regular kid, basically homeless when I met him, to a person with power and enough revenue to support his family," Brandon Rainwater said. "In raps he told his story and told the stories of other people around here that were going through the same struggles that he went through growing up."
Brandon Rainwater revealed that the rapper was on his way to shoot for a movie when he was killed, noting that he was on call with him the entire time and heard everything. However, he kept mum about the rest of the details.
"He spoke for the black community, the white community, the Mexican community, for all races," said Brandon Rainwater. "We lost a good speaker, a poet, an artist." He added, "He never cared what anybody else said about you. He took how he looked at you and that's how he looked at you. He didn't care about the surrounding sounds. He gave me a job. I ain't ever been nobody."
Following the murder, Yella Breezy was arrested. He was indicted by a grand jury and consequently booked into the Dallas County Jail. He was charged with capital murder with a promise of remuneration. In 2022, he was sentenced to prison for 105 months for the murder of MO3.
