Ryan Garcia, in a recent Instagram livestream, claimed that Chrisean Rock canceled their rock climbing livestream since she thought it was a date.In the video, Garcia can be heard saying,"And I was generally just trying to be nice, train and honestly just have fun on stream, I didn't go in there with any type of intentions. Just like another stream. It did well, everybody did well and I was like aight let's do it again. Why not?"Garcia mentioned that he came up with the rock climbing idea since he had already done a boxing/sparring stream. The two had teamed up earlier last week to film a playful boxing livestream. Garcia mentioned that rock climbing is a "sport" and not considered "a date type of thing." Garcia added that he felt disrespected and claimed to have informed her of the plan previously. "Why would she say that? That's why I felt disrespectful. Why are you making it seem like I was trying to make it look like a date. Rock climbing is a sport. I was trying to keep it professional all that. I decided to do a stream where it's rocky style training and I added rock climbing chill wholesome stuff. If she thinks it was considered a date, she is living outside of reality, I made it very clear it was never that and never will be."Garcia also added that Chrisean Rock's reason for cancelling the livestream was "mad confusing.""Mad confusing cause I was super respectful to her and made sure he was treated with repsect and fairness. In the stream, Garcia can be seen apologizing to Rock with visible concern, and Rock seemingly didn't take offense.
