Former MMA fighter Rampage Jackson has spoken out after a viral rumor spread online about his son, Raja Jackson. The story claimed that Raja murdered an independent pro-wrestler named Stuart Smith, also known as Syko Stu, during a live wrestling event in California. The rumor spread quickly after video clips of the incident went viral.

The video showed Raja Jackson attacking Syko Stu with real punches and strikes during what was supposed to be part of the wrestling match. The fight looked so brutal that many viewers believed the wrestler had died from the assault. This led to thousands of posts and comments across social media spreading the claim.

Rampage has now clarified the situation. He explained that while Syko Stu was badly hurt, he did not die. The wrestler was knocked out, taken to the hospital, and has since regained consciousness. Rampage confirmed that he is stable and recovering.

Rampage Jackson’s response to the rumour about Raja Jackson

Rampage Jackson released a public statement about the incident. He said he was upset by what happened and did not support his son’s actions. He also said that Raja Jackson had a concussion just days before the event and should not have been allowed to take part in the event. He posted a tweet on his X account saying:

I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler ( Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match, Raja was told that he could get his “payback”in the ring,i thought it was apart of the show. It was bad judgement, and a work that went wrong.

He added:

Raja is a MMA fighter not a pro wrestler and had no business involved in an event like this. I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact.

He went on:

As a father, im deeply concerned with his health AND the well being of Mr. Smith. That being said I’m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery.I apologize on his behalf and to KICK for the situation.

Rampage Jackson apologized to everyone involved, including Syko Stu, the wrestling community, and fans who were watching. He also expressed concern about Raja’s health and behavior, noting that the situation could have been prevented.

Most importantly, Rampage Jackson made it clear that the murder rumors are false. He repeated that Syko Stu is alive, though recovering from serious injuries. His statement was meant to calm the speculation online and correct the false information.
