Charlize Theron has been fairly open about her relationships and views on dating over the years, while in the spotlight. Before reaching A-list fame, Theron’s first high-profile romance was with actor Craig Bierko in the '90s. She later dated Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind, Stuart Townsend, and Sean Penn, among others. Her most recent boyfriend was model Alex Dimitrijevic, before they ultimately parted ways in 2024.
On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, which aired on June 26, Charlize Theron appeared as the show’s guest. At one point, Cohen asked Theron a fan question about her use of Raya, an exclusive and member-only dating app. Charlize responded affirmatively. When Cohen mentioned he was on Raya as well, the actress went on to say,
"I don't do anything with it. A friend put me on it, I went on two dates. Because every week it's every guy has a Burning Man picture. And they're, like, a CEO, like, of nothing.”
Charlize continued,
"Then you meet with them, and they're not. I just say it up front. I'm like, 'Well, why did you put that on your thing?' No, I don't like it."
It’s clear Theron has her issues with online dating, but she remains hopeful overall about finding a match.
Charlize Theron - Old Guard 2, mullet, more
On June 24, Charlize Theron appeared on an episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote her upcoming film Old Guard 2. During the interview, the actress hilariously shared how her children reacted to her mullet, which was the required hairstyle for the role. First, Meyers asked,
“This was not a prop mullet. This was a real mullet?”
To which she responded,
“No, that’s a real mullet.”
Charlize Theron then went on to elaborate,
“I have two girls, and they’re very…they’re mostly very girly. And they think of me as a princess. And they want Mom to look like a princess.”
The Old Guard 2-star continued,

“One literally started bawling her eyes out. And I had to actually sit down with her and say, ‘We all get to be who we want to be. And right now, Mom wants to wear a mullet.’ I don’t tell you what to do with your hair.”
Charlize Theron has two daughters, Jackson and August, who are 12 and 9 years old, respectively. Old Guard 2 will debut on Netflix on July 2.
