Jack Draper is going viral for more than just his tennis playing skills. The British men's No. 1 is making waves for his sports prowess, looks, and fashion sense. Ahead of his appearance scheduled on the asphalt at Wimbledon this week, fans have begun wondering about the status of his relationship.
After he came out on top against Gael Monfils of France in what was a close call in May this year, Draper opened up about his love life. At the time, he clarified that he wasn't married, nor was he seeing anyone. In May this year, he told Tatler:
"I’m always on the road. Always playing, always training. It’s tough to sustain any form of relationship."
He added:
"An eligible bachelor perhaps, but Draper is more of a mummy’s boy at heart. She’s the first person he calls when he wins; ‘a huge mentor’ and a former junior tennis champion herself."
During an interview with The Times in January 2025, Jack Draper opened up about what he wants in a partner, noting that "model looks" are far from it:
“For me, it’s more about someone who has got ambition, their own purpose in life, who’s nonjudgmental, someone with good values." he told the outlet, noting that while he has used dating apps, he "finds them too time-consuming."
Everything we know about Jack Draper's career in modeling and tennis
Elle Magazine has reported that the British model caught the eye of tennis fans when he played the Australian Open earlier this year. He defeated Thanasi Kokkinakis, an Australian, though it was more than his serve that got him on the radar.
However, Jack Draper has been a splash in the tennis world for a few years now. He played the Wimbledon boys' final in 2018, where he shook the hands of both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
Speaking with The Guardian at the time, he said:
“I was very different then… a bit of a maniac to be honest.”
Since then, Draper has made headlines for his matches on the ATP tour, the Grand Slams, and his success at the French Open. When he is not playing tennis, however, he is modeling. He signed with IMG Models at the age of 18, before he began playing the sport professionally, Us Weekly reported.
Jack Draper spoke with Vogue in April 2025 about his modeling career:
“I had just turned pro, and I didn’t really know what it was all about. I mean, the photos I did back then, I didn’t realize they’d still be out there. I wasn’t thinking about the future. It was just cool to go into that world and have something on the side.”
Just this year, Jack Draper was named ambassador for both Burberry and Vuori, the latter of which he left Nike for. However, Draper has his sights set on a successful tennis career. He said:
“It’s been a real journey to understand what I need to do to keep on improving as a player, and as a person. My preparation is always the same thing: rock up to the court, listen to my coach, and do all the right things to ensure I’m banking good days every day.”
