The Jonas Brothers had fans swirling in a throwback daze as they brought out Jesse McCartney as a surprise act during their latest performance in New Jersey, per AZ Central.
As seen in videos going viral online, the brothers- Nick, Kevin, and Joe - introduced the Beautiful Soul singer during their Jonas20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour show on August 10. McCartney's appearance has since sparked curiosity about his personal life, with many now wondering if he is still married.
Jesse McCartney is married to Katie Peterson, and just two months ago, they expanded their family by one, when they welcomed a son named Arthur James McCartney. They first shared that they were expecting in February. The two reportedly tied the knot in 2021 after dating for nine years. However, they have always known that they wanted kids.
“I look at a lot of my close friends now that have kids," the singer told E! News in March 2024 per Yahoo, adding, “and there's so many special moments that they have. Eventually, that's something I definitely want to have.” "We were playing into that quite a bit," Jesse said of Yung Gravy’s song “Make a Baby." “We knew it would elicit the reaction that it did, cause some commotion on the internet.”
At the time, he also gushed over his wife as a potential parent:
"I'd be raising a cave baby," he joked, "so it's a good thing that she's the one that will be raising the child with me."
On June 17, Jesse McCartney and his wife posted on Instagram that they had welcomed their son:
"Archer James McCartney took center stage on 5/7/25 💙🏹," they wrote in their announcement at the time. Our sweet Archie couldn’t wait to meet us and arrived a bit earlier than expected. We are so in love with him. He loves when mommy reads him a book and when daddy sings him off to sleep. We look forward to bringing him home very soon to meet his big sister Bailey, who sleeps with his blanket every night. Enjoy some cute pictures of our little fighter, Archer. 🏹"
