American television icon, June Lockhart, celebrated her 100th year birthday on June 25, 2025. Known for her role on Lassie and Lost in Space, Lockhart is one of the few remaining stars to have worked in the initial ages of Hollywood.
While fans celebrate her 100th birthday, many have also been wondering about her personal life, including her relationship status, family and health.
Lockhart has been married twice. She was first married to Dr. John Francis Maloney in 1951, but they eventually got divorced eight years later. The couple shared two daughters together, Anne and Lizabeth. A few years later she married John Lindsay, a union that ended in divorce in 1959, per IMDb.
After two divorces, June Lockhart never remarried and chose to stay single. She is known for keeping her personal life private and there has been no mention of her dating life after her second divorce. Now a resident of New York, June Lockhart still lives in the same house where she raised her own children.
Her Lost in Space co-star Bill Mumy recently spoke with Remind magazine and stated that Lockhart was alive and doing well. He said she was taken care of by two live-in aides. Her most recent professional credit was a voice cameo in a 2021 Netflix reboot of Lost in Space, and she was last seen in public in 2015 following which she retired from public appearances.
"I talk to her through her daughter. June is at home. She has two assistants. She’s still in her own home. She follows the politics, she reads the news, but she doesn’t talk on the phone," Mumy said.
