Kanye West, during a surprise appearance on Dean Cole's Comedy Show on December 27, stepped onstage and confirmed that he's working on a new album. As per footage shared by Dean Cole on Instagram, Cole can be seen inviting him on stage and introducing him to the audience as "a good friend." The caption said,

"About last night. What a great time. Laughter & love wins again. Hollywood improv."

West mentioned that he enjoyed the show, to which Cole responded, saying,

"You weren't giving me no empathy laughs, right?

After his comments drew a laugh from the audience, Cole asked West what fans can expect next from him.

"You got anything we could look out for? No music, no shirts, or sweaters or some boots?"

West answered and said, "New album," prompting loud cheers from the room.

Cole reacted by requesting West to appear on an interlude on the forthcoming project and also asked the rapper if he could send him a care package of clothes, to which the rapper agreed before exiting the stage. Kanye West has been delaying the release of his 11th studio album, BULLY.

More about Kanye West's 11th studio album BULLY

Kanye West originally announced the release of his 11th studio album, BULLY, in China in September 2024. However, over the past few months, the album has seen multiple delays and release dates.

In March 2025, West released a 30-minute black-and-white short film on the album. The short film had different versions, including a "screening version", a "post Hype version," and a " post post Hype version." The film was edited by music video director and record producer Hype Williams, and also featured his typography.

The film featured the rapper's nine-year-old son, Saint, fighting with wrestlers in the ring with a mallet. As per Variety, the wrestlers featured include Tiger Mask, El Desperado, YOH, and Toru Yano from the New Japan Pro-Wrestling promotion.

West was initially supposed to release BULLY on June 15, 2025, on his daughter North West's birthday. However, after not complying with the dates, West released three singles, including PREACHER MAN, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and DAMN on June 20.

On July 4, West released two more singles titled, LAST BREATH and LOSING YOUR MIND. West then postponed the album release date to July 25, 2025, before pushing it to September 2025 and eventually to December. West is yet to announce a new release date for the album.
