According to a recent article by Entertainment News, 41-year-old Lindsey Vonn has qualified for 2026 Winter Olympics after securing medals at the Super G tournament.

This marks Lindsey's comeback as the skii player returns post her retirement in 2019 due to knee injuries.

Lindsey Vonn was previously married to Thomas, whom she met at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Thomas and Lindsey got married on September 07, 2009 at the Silver Lake Lodge in Deer Valley, Utah and got divorced in 2019. The couple had been married for four years. Thomas also stepped down as Lindsey's manager.

"This is an extremely difficult time in my personal life and I hope the media and my fans can respect my need for privacy on this matter," Lindsey said in a statement at the time

Vonn also gained game for dating popular golfer Tiger Woods. She met Woods at a charity event in 2012 and the two dated each other from 2013 to 2015.

They claimed that distance was the reason they ended their high-profile romance with Lindsey, who frequently appeared on the PGA Tour.

"After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we've created together."
"Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart", Lindsey said in a statement at the time

Lindsey has also dated Kenan Smith, who is an NFL coach and former NHL defenceman SK Subban.

Lindsey and PK made their engagement public in 2019, and that Christmas, she revealed that she had asked PK to marry her. However, a year later the couple announced that they had decided to end their relationship.

"Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!!" Lindsey wrote on X ."In a 'nontraditional' gesture, I proposed to PK on our second anniversary, and he said yes! Engagement rings are not just for women.

About Lindsey Vonn's return

Lindsey Vonn qualifies for Winter Olympics after winning back-to-back bronze medals in the Super G Tournament.

She announced the wonderful news on Instagram with a joyous update.

On Tuesday, December 23, she said, "I have officially qualified for the Olympics in Cortina!!! @teamusa."

“I am honored to be able to represent my country one more time, in my 5th and final Olympics! When I made the decision to return to ski racing, I always had one eye on Cortina because it’s a place that is very, very special to me", Lindsey wrote on her social media post

She continued, “Although I can’t guarantee any outcomes, I can guarantee that I will give my absolute best every time l kick out of the starting gate. No matter how these games end up, I feel like I’ve already won.”

Next year marks 5th Winter Olympics for Lindsey Vonn.

Born on October 18, 1984 in St.Paul, Minnesota, Lindsey Vonn is an American Alpine skier. She has won four women's World Cup overall championships. In 2019, she became the first woman to win 82 World Cup races.

During her international racing career, she also won eight world championships and three Olympic Winter Games medals. Five years after her 2019 retirement, she declared her intention to resume the sport. She was awarded a seat on the U.S. national squad for the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan Cortina in December 2025.
