Is Roblox down? Over 125,000 users report server issues

Online game platform Roblox was reportedly down on June 26, with news outlets reporting approximately "125,000 user issues."

According to Times Now, a majority of the users were experiencing "server connection issues (60%), followed by website issues (29%), and difficulties with gameplay (11%). Roblox Twitter Community (RTC) took to its X channel to confirm that the online platform was experiencing "issues."

This is reportedly the second time the platform has experienced a temporary downtime in June. According to multiple news outlets, including Reuters, user issues peaked at "107,000" on June 4 in the "virtual universe".

In a new update shared by RTC on X, it confirmed that the online gaming platform was operational after "35 minutes." In recent years, the Roblox community has grown significantly, leading to a demand for better features and efficiency. The company had experienced a significant outage in 2021, when it was down for 3 days, per E-Marketer News.

At the time, the company attributed the number of users on the platform. Since then, the gaming verse has experienced downtimes, but they have rarely lasted for more than a couple of hours.

Users took to the comment section with mixed responses. One user (@karlkoree) wrote,

"that's why I was getting frustrated with the things not loading up, I thought it was my internet."

Another user (@mrcheezeeedoodle) wrote,

"It is definitely having issues, but it ain’t an outage."

Some users claimed that the service dysfunction may have occurred due to the game, Grow A Garden. However, no official links have been established.

This is reportedly the second time the online platform has experienced downtime in June. While the reasons are unclear, the downtime has been a temporary concern, with most players able to play again after some time. The game company hasn't officially commented on the recent downtime issues.
