Reality TV star Sadie Robertson, the granddaughter of professional hunter and businessman Phil Robertson, pays tribute to her late grandfather on social media, as he passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 79. The Duck Dynasty star was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, which progressed pretty quickly, leaving him with a bunch of health issues.

It was on one of the episodes of Unashamed with the Robertson Family podcast, in which Jase Robertson (one of the four sons of Phil) discussed his father's Alzheimer's diagnosis on December 6, 2024. He revealed that Phil was struggling and was not doing very well, and by April 2025, his father's health had become worse. As the news of Phil's death came as a shock to most of his fans and netizens, his granddaughter, Sadie Robertson, an actress, podcaster, and businesswoman, took to Instagram to pay tribute to her grandfather.

The 27-year-old Sadie Robertson is married to Christian Huff, with whom she shares two daughters, Honey James and Haven Belle, and is expecting a third child. According to People, the couple first met each other during a crab hunting trip in Florida. It was their siblings who introduced them. Before going on their first date, Sadie and Christian talked for over two months and got to know each other.

After dating for nine months, Sadie and Christian got engaged in June 2019. On November 25 of the same year, both of them tied the knot on the Robertson family's Louisiana property. As the wedding ceremony was officiated by Pastor Louie Giglio, the couple took their traditional and personal vows in front of over six hundred guests. They welcomed their first daughter on May 11, 2021, followed by their second daughter, who was born on May 22, 2023. In February 2025, Sadie and Christian broke the good news that they were expecting a third kid.

While fans of Phil Robertson showered their tributes on various social media platforms, the reality TV star's family members, too, shared their tributes on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. One of Phil's sons, Jase Robertson, took to X and shared:

"My dad has gone to be with the Lord today! He will be missed but we know he is in good hands, and our family is good because God is very good! We will see him again!"
