Taylor Swift may have a Christmas-themed music video in the works. CBS Austin has reported that the songstress is allegedly filming a new Christmas-themed music video. She reportedly flew out to Hampshire, England, from New Jersey in her private plane last week and was allegedly spotted filming across several locations. This includes the Whitgift Centre, which is a shopping mall in Croydon, South London. The outlet has also reported that extras were seen on set at Mildmay Club in Stoke Newington, North London. Lewis Capaldi and Domnhall Gleeson, the singer and actor, respectively, are allegedly expected to make cameos in the music video, set to Taylor Swift's track "Opalite" from "The Life of a Showgirl." Everything we know about Taylor Swift's allegedly forthcoming music video: The Daily Mail has reported that the Grammy-winning songstress will be filming the music video for Elizabeth Taylor. Although details about the same are unclear, the outlet has alleged that Taylor Swift wanted to honor the titular star's British heritage by filming in London. Elizabeth Taylor was an iconic actress known for her work on Cleopatra, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf. She was born in Hampstead, North London in 1932. A source told The Sun: "Taylor is super excited to be back in London filming for her new music video. Elizabeth Taylor is a British icon and Taylor wants to pay homage by shooting scenes in the capital. Taylor has always written about her love for London, and the video will capture different locations around the city." An insider also told the outlet over the weekend: “This video was shrouded in secrecy, with Taylor’s security team working day and night to ensure she wasn’t sighted at any point. It was like a military operation. But she IS the most powerful woman in pop, so if she wants to go unseen, she’ll make it happen.”A witness further told the outlet: “Extras in retro dress were spotted exiting the venue, along with festive props including Christmas trees, glitter cannons and tinsel. Banana milkshake was used for eggnog, while grape juice stood in for posh champagne.”They continued, “Security was really tight. [Taylor Swift] and her cast were given numbers instead of names, and were whisked between cars and buildings under a fortress of umbrellas and screens to keep the whole project under wraps. You’ve never seen secrecy like it. Some shops were informed of filming, but they were told it was for an insurance commercial — something suitably boring that wouldn’t arouse suspicion. The budget was massive, around £1million. Hiring out the shopping centre alone would have cost several hundreds of thousands of pounds, even if it is tired. Of course, it was decorated and dressed up to look Christmassy. It has a nostalgic feel, like Love Actually meets a John Lewis advert.”Stay tuned to SoapCentral for more.
