“It was hilarious” — CMBYN star Armie Hammer shares his experience meeting a man through Grindr

During the March 3 episode of The Armie Hammer Time Podcast, while speaking to mental health coach Dani Druz, Armie Hammer mentioned that he once tried to hook up with a man on the dating app Grindr. Armie recalled the incident and called it "hilarious,"

"I tried hooking up with a dude one time. It was hilarious...Because I was like, you know what? Like, women are the worst. Gay dudes seem to have it so easy. Like, so easy."

Armie was on the dating app Grindr, which gay, bisexual men, trans, and queer communities predominantly use.

"I'm at a restaurant, my phone blows up, and it's like, Grindr, and someone else is like, 'I'm at the same restaurant. Do you want a bl***** in the bathroom?"

Armie excused himself to the bathroom and began "making out with him." He recalled that the man's beard was rough on his skin and that he found the experience "strange."

While detailing his experience of "hooking up" with a man he met on Grindr while at a restaurant, Armie Hammer mentioned that the two met up in the restaurant bathroom, and he found the experience "so strange."

Armie Hammer mentioned that the man in question had wide shoulders and was almost his height, and the entire experience allegedly did not arouse him. Hammer ended the session by saying, "I've got to stop this here."

The actor had previously publicly mentioned that he was a bit of a "provocateur." However, while clarifying rumors of cannibalism, the actor mentioned that despite liking bondage, he does not have "any intention of cutting anything off of anyone or eating anything off of anyone." Hammer clarified that he was joking about the topics in the leaked texts.
