"It’s been a really tough decision" - Love Island alums Ekin-Su and Curtis Pritchard split

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, commonly known as Ekin-Su, the British-Turkish reality TV star, broke up with her romantic partner, Curtis Pritchard. The winner of Love Island UK, Su, met Curtis Pritchard on the second season of Love Island: All Stars. The first installment of the reality show was released in January 2024. However, the show's All Stars edition might not be as popular as the original show, but it does have a niche fanbase.

30-year-old Ekin-Su, who is also a professional model and actress, was born in Islington, London. While she participated in various beauty contests, Su attended the Central University of Lancashire, where she studied performing arts. Besides starring in reality shows like Love Island, she has also appeared in TV series like North Star and Dancing on Ice.

The news of Ekin-Su and Curtis Pritchard's split came as a shock to most of their fans, since they had just begun dating. The reality star/actress took to Instagram to break the news of her and Curtis's breakup. In an Instagram Story from her official profile, Su revealed that they have decided to split, and their three-month-long relationship has come to an end.

The former Love Island UK winner, in her statement, wrote:

"I wanted to share that Curtis and I have decided to go our separate ways. It’s been a really tough decision, but one made with a lot of love and respect for one another."

She continued and said:

"He's an incredible person and I’ll always cherish the memories we made both in and out of the villa."

Su further added:

"Thank you all so much for the love and support over the past few months. We’re both focusing on navigating this transition and would really appreciate privacy during this time. Love always, Ekin-Su."

Interestingly, both Curtis and Su have previously starred on Love Island, hoping to find love; however, their time on the show was not fruitful. And they returned on Love Island: All Stars, in which they met each other. They even came third in the second installment of the show. But, unfortunately, things did not turn out as they were supposed to.

Curtis Pritchard confirms his breakup with Ekin-Su

It's not only Ekin-Su who shared the news of their breakup on social media, but the 29-year-old Curtis Pritchard also took to Instagram and confirmed the news. Curtis, in an Instagram post, said:

"It's true, Ekin and I have decided to go our separate ways. Breakups are never easy, but I'll always be grateful for the laughs, the adventures, and the memories (especially the dance routines)."

"I'll be keeping busy with work, boxing, dancing, and working with the team on FINT (celebrity investment app). Lots of love, Curtis x."
