"It's Beautiful Chaos": Chris Pratt opens up about life at home with Baby no. 4 with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger

While speaking to E! News in an interview published on August 5, Chris Pratt was asked about his life at home to which he says,

"Oh, it's beautiful chaos, absolutely hectic and wonderful. I'm drinking up every moment I can when I get to be home."

During an appearance on TODAY, Chris Pratt opened up to Craig Melvin on life at home with Baby no. 4 with Katherine Schwarzenegger. The couple welcomed their third child and Chris' fourth, Ford in November, 2024.

"Ford, man, he's doing great. Mama's doing well. He's the happiest baby. He's got these giant, beautiful blue eyes. He's so special. Everyone says that about their kids, most of them are wrong. I'm not wrong. This kid is very special."

He also expressed appreciation towards Katherine and said,

"Ford's got a beautiful mama, a very caring and strong-willed father. And yeah, he's now one of four of my children, and I'm so blessed."

Chris Pratt shares daughters Lyla, 4, and Eloise, 3 with Katherine. Pratt also shares son, Jack, 12 with ex-wife Anna Faris.

"My style is very heavily influenced by how I was raised" - Chris Pratt sheds light on his parenting technique

While talking about his newest child, Ford on TODAY, Chris Pratt also shed light on how his parenting technique differs from his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger's,

"My style is heavily influenced by how I was raised. I was a very sensitive kid, but my dad was very tough and very strict. So I tend to be a little more mindful of the sensitivity in kids. So I'm not as tough and I'm not as strict."

He added that Katherine is opposite and more of a "rule influencer",

"Their mom, however, Katherine, is more of the rule enforcer. We have a nice balance there."

This is not the first time Pratt has spoken about his and Katherine's different parenting styles. During a March, 2025 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Chris revealed that Katherine is a tough parent,

"Katherine inehrited some of that Austrian toughness. So maybe in that regard...as a parenting team, she is...more of the authoritarian."

While speaking to E! News at the May 19, 2024 premiere of The Garfield Movie, Chris shed light on the new age of parenting,

"I think there's a new age of parenting. I grew up, I did exactly what my parents said all the time. I never knew I could say 'no' to my parents. And now I'm a guy who's not super - didn't have a super healthy grip on his own emotions. So we're trying to raise them in a way that they feel comfortable expressing themselves."

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger tied the knot in June, 2019, a year after they were first spotted together and sparked dating rumors. Chris and Katherine were reportedly set up by the latter's mother, Maria Shriver.
