“It’s a celebration” - MGK shares a new picture of his and Megan Fox’s baby

Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) recently took to Instagram to share with the world the joy of becoming a father while celebrating the success of his musical career. His post included a new picture with his infant daughter, and he described the moment as ‘a celebration.’ The image was posted on the 30th of May, and it features the rapper holding their daughter, who is the first child he shares with his ex-fiancée, Megan Fox.

The photo appears in one of the slides of an Instagram gallery celebrating the streaming success of Kelly's latest single, “Cliché,” which has amassed 8.6 million streams on Spotify—the highest debut for him as a solo artist. In the photo, MGK is wearing a white button-down shirt, a black vest, and a tie. Also, he is captured gently placing his hand over his daughter’s, and her face is not shown.

Colson Baker, aka. MGK, shared a selfie back on May 23, which featured him trying on a baby carrier with their daughter’s head protruding from it, hinting at his daughter. Friday’s post is his most straightforward acknowledgment of her family since her birth on March 27.

“It’s a celebration,” Kelly wrote in the caption, emphasizing his personal achievements and professional milestones all at once. The heartfelt instance came just days after attending the 2025 American Music Awards, where he candidly shared about life as a newborn’s father.

“I’m just so elated. It’s just awesome,” he disclosed to Access Online on the red carpet.

MGK and Megan Fox are focused on co-parenting after split

Although their engagement was called off in December 2024, Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox have been reportedly co-parenting their daughter amicably and in a supportive fashion.

“Megan and Colson are not back together,” a source discussed to PEOPLE. “Their relationship is still strictly centered on coparenting their baby girl.”

The source also added that MGK sometimes spends the night at Fox’s place but “part-time and only to spend time with the baby.” Fox, 39, has three sons from her previous marriage to actor Brian Austin Green—Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8. MGK also has a 15-year-old daughter, Casie, from a previous relationship.

As Machine Gun Kelly navigates this new chapter in his life, both as an artist and a dad, the shared snapshots of him with his daughter provide the public with insight into the calmer, softer, and more grounded side of the rapper—one that is quietly proud, purpose-driven, and full of joy.
